By accessing or using myKaria ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
Description of Service
myKaria is an AI-powered job application tool that helps users create tailored CVs and cover letters. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze job descriptions and generate customized application documents.
Account Registration
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Subscription and Payments
Subscription Plans
We offer various subscription plans with different features and usage limits. Current pricing is available on our pricing page.
Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- We may change pricing with 30 days' notice
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise security
- Abuse, harass, or harm other users
- Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Service
- Use the Service to generate false or misleading information
- Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
Intellectual Property
Service Ownership
The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by myKaria and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you provide (job descriptions, profile information). By using the Service, you grant us a license to use this content to provide and improve the Service.
Generated Documents
You own the CVs and cover letters generated by the Service. You may use these documents for personal job applications.
AI-Generated Content
Our Service uses artificial intelligence to generate content. While we strive for accuracy:
- AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
- You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content
- We are not liable for consequences of using AI-generated content
- Generated content should be reviewed for appropriateness and accuracy
Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama). Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:
- That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- That defects will be corrected
- That the Service is free of viruses or harmful components
- The accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content
- That using our Service will result in job offers
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, myKaria SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless myKaria from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Automatic Account Deletion
For data privacy and security reasons:
- If you don't create new applications for 6 consecutive months, we will send reminder emails
- After 6 months of inactivity without consent renewal, your account and all data will be automatically deleted
- Each time you create a new application, you confirm consent to store data for the next 6 months
- You can manually delete your account at any time from account settings
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
